‘Perform’ is an education initiative within Facebook that helps businesses discover how digital natives are using performance marketing to build global brands. The initial event gave traditional agency leadership exposure to how digital native disruptors, think, operate and deliver success on Facebook’s platform. The visual identity and event design needed to resonate with traditional blue chip advertisers, communicate to a global market and be delivered on a tight turnaround. The concept utilised a minimalist typographic treatment, supported by a palette of patterns that provided a flexible and dynamic visual identity; invoking notions of real time data streams, dynamic feedback, disruptive tech and ‘digital natives’.
